Governance

CRDT was officially registered with the Ministry of the Interior in 2004 — see the registration letter here (in Khmer).

Our constitution and organisational structure is developed to ensure good governance, accountability and transparency. Our Board of Directors work in a non-executive capacity on a voluntary basis.

Day-to-day operations are overseen by a Management Committee, led by an Executive Director. The rest of the team report to the MC and hold roles as either project staff in the field offices or at Head Office in Kratie Town.

NGOs should be accountable for their actions and be governed transparently right? The NGO GPP, as a project within the Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC), is a collective response by NGOs and working in partnership with the NGO community, donors/funding agencies, and other stakeholders to professionalise and strengthen the NGO sector in Cambodia by encouraging and promoting NGO accountability and good organisational practices.

On the 23rd of September 2011 CRDT were present at the inauguration ceremony following being awarded the CCC GPP stamp of approval earlier in 2011. Click the GPP logo in the bottom right hand corner of this, or any other page of our website to learn more about the CCC GPP.
