CRDT recognizes that increasing demands of good practice, transparency, accountability in financial management in NGO sector from NGO community, donors, government and other stakeholders. CRDT recognize that the best way to improve sound financial management is to produce a financial manual based on the current situation, Cambodian Accounting Standard and International Accounting Standard. This manual contains 13 headings and guide CRDT to effective use of fund.
This financial manual is the results of join efforts in discussion and development of the management committee, management advisor, and board of directors of CRDT. This financial manual is to be revised and updated every one to three years in order to keep the manual response to the real situation of CRDT. This manual will play a vital role in fulfill the obvious needs of CRDT and its donors, and to ensure the accountability, transparency, and effective use of fund.
