Consultancy Report

Consultancy program on agricultural training is part of project implementation to generate core funding for CRDT. Experiences from practical implementation from different targeted areas was combined in lessons for consultacy service.

Consultancy service for PDNEP/JICA: Need assessment workhsop for agricultural training for districts in Mondulkiri

This is a simple and short workshop was desinged and implemented by CRDT coordinator after a short meeting with PRDNEP/JICA representatives on the 5th of September 2008. And this is a first collaborative workshop under the contract for five workshop and agriculture study tour of model farmers and local authorities from all districts in Mondulkiri between PRDNEP/JICA and CRDT.

Consultancy service for PDNEP/JICA:  Agricultural training for districts in Mondulkiri funded by PDNEP/JICA

The training course was a collaborative activity of Provincial Rural Development Committee in Mondulkiri (PRDC) and the Project of Capacity Development of Provincial Rural Development in Northeastern Province (PRDNEP) funded by JICA. The five courses was contracted with Cambodian Rural Development Team (CRDT) including fish, frog and earth worm raising, rice-straw mushroom growing, techical rice improvment and technical biodigester construction. Each course was coordinated by well and long year experieces staff with CRDT including Mr. Sun Mao, a member of CRDT management team and project manager for Mekong project, and Mr. Hean Pheap, a member of CRDT management team and project manager for Mondulkiri province. The training was conducted between February and April 2009 in four districts of Mondulkiri.

Consultancy service for WWF Mondulkiri: Training for the wildlife mask-making funded by WWF

The training provided by CRDT on the Wildlife Mask-making Training for Eco Club Students In Sre Huy Primary School. The scope of work for 6 days is to train 15 students on the method of making animal mask. The budget is provided to WWF-Greater Mekong, Cambodia Country Programme under the October Hill Foundation for the project “Environmental Education Programme for Eastern Plains Landscape”.
