Homestay in Koh Phdao community

CRDTours is specialized in offering unique travel experiences in the provinces of Kratie and Stung Treng. All funds generated from our tours directly support local communities and environmental conservation. Either cycling alongside the iconic Mekong River or living with a local community assisting in conservation projects as well as savouring local delicacies is making a positive contribution to the places visited and the locals met.

According to its progress report from February to April 2014, CRDTours hosted 149 tourists to visit several community based tourism projects along the Mekong River such as Koh Trong, Koh Phdao, and Koh Preah communities. As a result, these communities generated a revenue of USD 3,918.40 in total directly from tourists. Additionally, most of the tourists visiting the communities via CRDTours gave us a rate between 4 and 5 for our tour quality (4=good, 5=excellent). Some said they enjoyed homestays and the families the most while others enjoyed the way of life of the local people, the Mekong River, the dolphins and the smile of local people.

Great News! As a way forward to strengthen its operation, CRDTours has developed its 5-year business strategic plan, a huge thanks to Ms. Marloes, our business coordinator and all staffs of CRDTours for spending their time involving in this strategic plan development process. We, all staff, are happy to see this progress and are ready to take action. We hope that this plan will guide us smoothly to reach our goal.
